01.

The Challenge

The objective of this project is to showcase how Blue Planet Energy created resilience hubs at Puerto Rican schools to provide backup power during emergencies and natural disasters. This case study aims to educate and inspire others about the benefits of resilience hubs and how they can contribute to energy resilience, cost savings, and a more sustainable future.

Energy Solution

To create resilience hubs at the schools in Puerto Rico, Blue Planet Energy installed energy storage systems that are designed to store energy generated by the solar panels and provide reliable backup power during emergencies and natural disasters. The installation required careful planning and consideration of the unique challenges associated with resilience hubs, including reliability, durability, and sustainability needs. The resilience hubs at the schools in Puerto Rico have provided a reliable source of electricity during emergencies and natural disasters, reducing the safety risks associated with prolonged power outages and providing peace of mind to students, faculty, and staff. The installation of the resilience hubs also contributes to energy resilience and independence, reducing the dependence on the grid and resulting in cost savings and improved energy efficiency.
